Eric “E-Man” Mann is a Senior Advisor at the Patriot Group. Prior to retirement, General Mann served as the Deputy Adjutant General / Chief of Staff-Air for Wyoming from July 2015 to December 2018 and has over 30 years of military service. In his role as Deputy Adjutant General, General Mann provided key strategic insight and expertise advocating at the national level for Wyoming’s federal and state objectives. He also served as the Air National Guard Assistant to the Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, where he provided oversight and guidance for the United States Air Force international policy and programs. Gen Mann supported national security objectives through political-military affairs, security assistance programs, technology and information disclosure, education and training, cooperative research and development and air attaché affairs.
General Mann additionally served as the Director, Plans and Requirements, for the Air National Guard where he was responsible for executing National Guard and Reserve Equipment Account (NGREA) funds to modernize Air National Guard aircraft and equipment for both combat and domestic operations. He is a command pilot with more than 3,000 flight hours in the A-10, including more than 225 combat hours. General Mann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame. He also completed the Capstone General and Flag Officer course with the National Defense University and the Harvard University National & International Security fellowship.
